CELTIC, Northeast Gaul. Ambiani. Circa 60-30 BC. Stater (Gold, 18 mm, 6.29 g), 'statére uniface' type. Blank convex surface. Rev. Celticized horse galloping to right, horseman transformed into fibula-like figure; below horse, crescent and pellet above ground line. DT 239-241. LT 8710. Nicely toned. Good very fine.
