Nude warrior on horseback right, holding shield and two spears, preparing to cast a third; ΣA below / Phalanthos on dolphin left, holding distaff; below, prow left. Fischer-Bossert Group 80, 1126 (V416/R868). Vlasto 585 (same dies). HN Italy 934. Near Extremely Fine; fine style, well struck with a late state shattering die, resulting in die breaks, metal flaw, and small striking split at bottom; hoard cleaned but retoning, now lightly toned with surface iridescence. Fascinating and attractive.
