THESSALY. Krannon. Circa 350-300 B.C. Æ dichalkon. 4.47 gm. 18 mm. Laureate head of Poseidon (or Zeus) right / Horseman wearing petasos riding right; trident below; ΚΡΑ-N-NIΩN around. HGC 4, 384. BCD Thessaly II 117.9 (same obverse die). Rogers 179. Good Very Fine; good style, well centered, and well struck; beautiful glossy dark brown, green and red patina. Especially attractive for the issue.
