Très beau.
Première monnaie émise dans la nouvelle capitale instaurée par les Abbassides : Madinat al-Salam (Cité de la Paix) (au­ jourd’hui Bagdad) en 146 de l’Hégire. La calligraphie de cette monnaie est similaire à celle des dinars frappés à Damas, la capitale omeyyade, d’où provenaient les graveurs de coins.
This is the first silver coin from the newly established Abbasid capital Madinat al-Salam (City of Peace) which opened in the year 146 h. The distinctive calligraphy on this coin was similar to that used in the former Umayyad capital, Damascus, from which its first die-cutters originated.
