CILICIA, Tarsus. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ (35.5mm, 26.88 g, 12h). Radiate and draped bust right, holding spear and shield ornamented with gorgoneion / Tyche seated left, holding a temple in each hand (one temple has five columns, the other four). SNG BN –; SNG Levante 1143 (same dies). Dark green patina with some light earthen highlights/deposits, some light porosity. VF.
