PHOENICIA, Tyre(?). Late Hellenistic to Roman Imperial Period. Cast PB Mina Weight (64x65mm, 532.80 g, 12h). Tanit symbol and balance symbol above; Phoenician N N – (= 50 shekels) below / Blank. Cf. Elayi & Elayi, Recherches 118 and 298; Hendin, Ancient 278. Brown patina, divot in obverse. Near VF. Overall height and weight include suspension loop originally cast into weight, which has since compressed when the edge was hammered.
