Volusian. AD 251-253. Æ As (24mm, 9.59 g, 12h). Rome mint, 5th officina. 3rd emission, second half of AD 252. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Juno seated front within garlanded round shrine; peacock at her side; S C flanking temple. RIC IV 252b. Brick-red and green-brown patina, lightly smoothed. Good VF. Very rare. The first we have ever offered of this type.
