ANGLO-SAXON, Secondary Sceattas. Circa 730-740/5. AR Sceatt (13mm, 1.08 g, 9h). Series L related/Type 94 mule. Uncertain mint in the south-east (Essex?). Diademed and draped bust left; elaborate cross pommée to left / Archer kneeling right, drawing bow; branch to left. Cf. Sceatta List 33-110/50-10 (for obv./rev.); cf. SCBC 804G/825 (for obv./rev.); otherwise unpublished. Toned, slight roughness, some weakness on reverse. VF. Unique.
