TUDOR. Henry VIII. 1509-1547. AR Groat (26mm, 2.37 g, 10h). Third coinage. Tower (London) mint; im: lis. Struck 1544-1547. Crowned and mantled third bust facing slightly right / Coat-of-arms over long cross fourchée, with annulet in each fork. North 1844; SCBC 2369. Toned, areas of weak strike, usual minor porosity, die scratch. Fine.
