SCOTLAND. James VI. 1567-1625. BI Eighteenpenny Groat – Plack (22mm, 2.05 g, 7h). Type 2. Edinburgh mint. Struck 1583-1590. Crowned coat-of-arms / Crowned thistle. Cf. SCBI 58 (Edinburgh), 1633-51 (for type); SCBC 5512. Toned, minor green deposits. VF. Good silver content for issue.
