Crowned bust left; behind, XL with three lozenges around, small B at end of legend / Crowned thistle; small B at end of legend. Cf. SCBI 35 (Ashmolean & Hunterian) 1445-7 (for type); SCBC 5577. Toned, areas of weak strike, wavy flan, scratches. Fair.
