Allgemeine Militaria Deutschland Deutsch-Ostafrika, Bronzeskulptur eines Askaris mit Erinnerungswidmung an den Oberstleutnant Kraut in Deutsch-Ostafrika 1909-1920, Bronze dunkel getönt, detaillierte Darstellung eines mit Gewehr schreitenden Askari-Offiziers in voller Ausrüstung, auf Marmorsockel mit vorne angebrachter Widmungsplakette "Oberstleutn. Kraut zur Erinnerung an die Dienstzeit in der Kaiserlichen Schutztruppe für Deutsch-Ostafrika 1909-1920", Gesamthöhe ca. 48 cm, Gewicht ca. 8,3 kg, aus Familienbesitz, Gewehrgurt vorhanden, aber nicht mehr verlötet, leichte Gebrauchs- und Lagerungsspuren, Zustand 2. Die Schutztruppe in DOA bestand aus 68 Offizieren, 60 Unteroffizieren, 108 Sanitätsoffizieren und -unteroffizieren, einem Intendanturrat mit zwei Sekretären, 9 Zahl und Unterzahlmeistern, 4 Feuerwerkern, 8 Waffenmeistern sowie 2742 afrikanischen Soldaten. Solche Kleindenkmäler, einen "Askari" darstellend, wurden den aus der deutsch-ostafrikanischen Schutztruppe ausscheidenden Offizieren überreicht. Dazu 2 Urkunden vom Interessenverband Übersee zum 80. Geburtstag von Oberstleutnant Georg Kraut, 1x Abschrift eines Vortrags "Der Kampf in Deutsch-Ostafrika" zur Motivation der deutschen Truppen, 4x Dia (Kunststoffrahmen mit Glas und diverse Fotos.). Oberstleutnant bzw. damals noch Major Kraut war Stellvertreter von Lettow-Vorbeck und Führer der Nordabteilung im 1. Weltkrieg in Deutsch-Ostafrika. Das Stück stammt aus Familienbesitz.
