Russia Medal 1945 The medal "For the Liberation of Prague" is made of brass and has the shape of a regular circle with a diameter of 32 mm. On the front side at the top around the circumference is the inscription "FOR EXEMPTION" below it is the inscription "PRAGUE" below is the image of the rising sun and two laurel branches connected under a five-pointed star. The front side of the coin is bordered by a side. On the reverse side of the coin is the date of the liberation of Prague: "May 9 1945" under the date is a five-pointed star. All inscriptions and images on the medal are convex. The medal with the help of an eye and a ring is connected to a pentagonal block covered with a lilac silk moire ribbon 24 mm wide. In the middle of the tape is a blue strip 8 mm wide.
