Russia Medal 1960-1962 MOOP Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Union Republics Type. Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Union Republics. Medals of the third type were awarded from May 2 1960 to August 8 1962. The appearance of medals of the third type is associated with the transfer of powers of the central all-Union Ministry of Internal Affairs to the ministries of the Union republics. Lithuanian SSR. On the reverse in the center there is a three-line inscription "FOR 20 YEARS OF AN IMMEDIATE SERVICE". In the lower part of the reverse around the circumference there is an inscription indicating the Ministry of the Interior of one of the 5 above-mentioned union republics.
