Great Britain, The North Sunderland Railway Company a small collection including original company prospectus, Share Certificate for 3 shares to John Robson Johnson, of Slate Hall, unused form of application for shares, maps of North Sunderland Harbour and the North Sunderland Railway, also a copy of a map showing a proposed extension to the line, and a copy of a photo of a steam train on the line at Seahouses. VF to EF. A most interesting and unique group of great interest to the railway enthusiast. The line was opened on August 1st 1898 and close on October 27th 1951. The company initially owned one locomotive and three carriages, the line ran for four miles between Chathill and Seahouses with an intermediate stop at North Sunderland.
