Devonshire Bank, Okehampton 1 Pound dated 8th December 1817 No. C795 For Can, Williams, Searle & Co. and multiple manuscript signatures for Can, John Searle and others (Outing 1633a; Grant 2184), VG multiple Pinholes in body and the usual inked signatures/annotations on reverse. Black with imprint Ashby & Ball and featuring a vignette with castle ruins at left. The reverse with bank name at bottom and an elaborate design of the Partnership monogram.
