Cambridge, Halfpennies (5), 'Stork' types, 1793 (3), INDUSTRY HAS ITS SURE REWARD, bee hive, rev. PROMISSORY HALFPENNY, stork standing right, PAYABLE IN LONDON on edge with engrailing in space, 12h, 7.53g (Atkins 13; D&H 15), almost very fine, note the die axis; others, 5h, edge obliquely grained (2), 10.40g; 10.55g (Atkins 13a; D&H 15a), the first good very fine; the second lustrous, extremely fine with some residual mint colour; additionally, 'River God' types, 1791, 5h (2), obv. as last, rev. NUNQUAM ARESCERE, river god reclining right, MDCCXCI in exergue, edge obliquely grained, 8.23g (Atkins 14; D&H 16), a small edge nick at reverse 2 o'clock, otherwise patinated, good very fine; another, obv. 'LET GLASGOW FLOURISH, shield, rev. as last, CAMBRIDGE BEDFORD AND HUNTINGDON . x . x (cf. D&H Lanark 3a), carbon spotting, but much residual mint colour, good extremely fine (5).
