SILK ROAD, Uncertain. Circa 3rd-4th centuries AD or slightly later. AV Bracteate (18.5mm, 0.72 g, 12h). Imitating a Kushan dinar of Kanishka I. NIX(retrograde P)O(retrograde K)I(retrograde K)(inverted triangle)(retrograde P)NIX (retrograde D)NIX(inverted triangle)O(retrograde P)[...], Kanishka standing left, sacrificing over altar and holding standard / Incuse of obverse. Cf. MK 69 (for obv.). Lightly toned, traces of deposits, slightly wavy flan. VF. With contemporary mount attached.
