BATAILLE DE LA MARNE, uniformed conjoined busts of Joseph Jacques Césaire Joffre, Michel-Joseph Maunoury, and Joseph Simon Gallieni facing slightly right and set on base inscribed SEPTEMBRE/1914 with J.P. LEGASTELOIS in exergue, and framed by laurel branches / Marianne, holding sword, aloft to right, driving the French armies forward to victory; J.P. LEGASTELOIS in exergue. Edge: (cornucopia) BRONZE .
