Athens. Circa 500/490-485/0 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 19 mm, 16.96 g, 11 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet and circular earring. Rev. ΑΘ[Ε] Owl with closed wings standing right, head facing; behind, olive sprig; all within incuse square. Asyut 311 ff. Seltman Group Gi. Svoronos pl. 5 passim. Clear, well-struck and very attractively toned. Struck on a slightly tight flan, otherwise, about extremely fine.
