Mallos. Circa 440-390 BC. Stater (Silver, 22.5 mm, 10.26 g, 7 h). [m'rln (in Aramaic)] Winged and beardless male figure, draped from the waist and with a plume on his head, striding to right, holding, with both hands, a solar disc; in field to right, barley grain. Rev. Μ Α Λ Ρ Swan standing to left, flapping its wings. BMC 17. SNG Levante -. SNG Paris -. Struck from the same obverse die as Nomos 16, 2018, 136 = Prospero 583 (New York Sale XXVII, 2012). Very rare. Nicely centered on a broad flan. Some surface roughness, otherwise, good very fine.
