Seleukos I Nikator, 312-281 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 17.16 g, 6 h), Antioch, after c. 300. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ Zeus seated left on high-backed throne, holding, on his right hand, Nike stretching right to crown him, and, in his left, a scepter; in the field to left, monogram; below throne, ΘΕ. SC 13.1. WSM 909. Boldly struck and bright. Minor marks, otherwise, extremely fine.
