Seleukos I Nikator, 312-281 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 17.13 g, 9 h), Seleukeia in Pieria, after c. 300. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ Zeus seated left on high-backed throne, holding, on his right hand, Nike stretching right to crown him, and a scepter in his left; in field to left, monogram in circle; below throne, ΚΡ. SC 29.1b. WSM 890. A very well-struck, bright coin with lovely types, struck in high relief. Extremely fine.
