Gordian III, 238-244. Denarius (Silver, 21 mm, 4.06 g, 6 h), Rome, 240. IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian to right. Rev. LAETITIA AVG N Laetitia standing left, holding wreath in her right hand and rudder with her left. Cohen 120. RIC 113. A pleasing coin with a very sharp portrait struck on a broad, full flan. Reverse slightly weak, otherwise, good extremely fine.
