ΤΡΙΠΟΛΕΙΤΩΝ - ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟ/C Youthful river-god - the Maiander - reclining to left on waves, holding reed in his right hand, and resting his left on an upturned urn from which the river flows; below right, fish. SNG Lindgren 854. Very rare. Bold, with a dark, grey-green patina, and of good style. Minor marks and some roughness, otherwise, about extremely fine.
