IMP CARINVS P F AVG Radiate and cuirassed bust of Carinus to left, holding spear over his right shoulder and with shield bearing a gorgoneion over his left shoulder. Rev. SAECVLI FELICITAS Emperor standing right, bareheaded, in military dress and holding a globe in his left hand and a spear in his right; in field to right, D. RIC 215. With an attractive bust. Some minor striking flatness, otherwise, extremely fine.
