Antioch. Tancred, regent, 1101-1112. Follis (Bronze, 20.5 mm, 2.74 g, 5 h). IC-XC Nimbate bust of Jesus Christ facing, with pellet decorating each arm of nimbus. Rev. TA-NK/P-H in the quarters of a cross with pellets at the end of each arm. CCS 5. Metcalf 83. Schlumberger pl. 2, 8. Wäckerlin 98-102. Green patina, with some reddish highlights; with an unusually fine depiction of Christ. Traces of overstriking on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
