Treasury Series, John Bradbury, Dardanelles issue, 10 shillings, ND (1915), serial number Z/17 027465, red, George V at top left, St George at top right, value at low left and in red panel at centre, black Arabic overprint PIASTRES SILVER SIXTY, (EPM T15), almost extremely fine thus above average for type, but with additional writing on face, which has since been re-traced, rare in this grade. Additionally a manuscript annotation 'Frieda military pay Anzac Cove, Gallipoli peninsula 19th July 1915', a fascinating and poignant item.
