Watch List notes:

Gold Note Issue, Kanagawa, Japan, 1 rio, ND (c.1869), black and white on card like paper, photograph of the Kanagawa Exchange Office below with embossed seal, red oval seal top right, reverse text, various stamps, also included contemporary handwritten note on envelope referring to the note, (similar to Osaka issue Pick S198, CJCB 10-35-4), extremely fine with photograph still clear, a good example of an exceedingly rare issue and this a rare branch.
