Near Extremely Fine; minor flan crack 6/8h, of beautiful style. Very Rare.
Acquired from Leu Numismatik AG, reportedly from a European collection, formed before 2005.
The helmet of Athena is rarely decorated with a Skylla on coins minted at Velia and is clearly reminiscent of the issues of Thourioi.
