Thessalos, naked but for a cloak and petasos flying behind him, leaping to right and grasping a rushing bull by the horns and neck. Rev. ΛAP / IΣAI, bridled horse galloping to right, its bridle trailing, all within a shallow incuse square (Herrmann, group III, F; Weber 2835; SNG Copenhagen 109 var). Well-centred, beautiful old cabinet tone, extremely fine.
