Head of Demeter facing right, hair wreathed with wheat, and wearing a necklace and an earring with a rosette on the lobe attached to a crescent from which five pendants hang. Rev. OΠONTIΩN, Ajax, naked, wearing a crested Corinthian helmet and holding a short sword and a shield decorated with a griffin, advancing to right, a diagonal spear pointing down and left below (Gulbenkian 495 (this obverse die); BCD Lokris, 71 (this obverse die). With a beautiful high-relief image of Demeter, excellent metal quality, extremely fine / very fine.
