Attica, Athens (c.454-404 B.C.), Silver Drachm, 4.25g, 3h. head of Athena facing to right, wearing a crested Attic helmet ornamented with three olive-leaves and a palmette, and wearing an earring and a necklace. Rev. AΘE, owl standing right, its head facing, an olive-sprig on left, all within an incuse square (Svoronos pl. 13, 27; Kroll 10; SNG Copenhagen 42). Attractive style, toned, about extremely fine, a pretty little coin.
