ANCIENT COINS. GREEK. Aiolis, Myrina (c.155-145 B.C.), Silver Tetradrachm, 16.67g, 1h. Stephanophoric type. Head of Apollo facing right, wearing a laurel-wreath. Rev. MYPINAIΩN, Apollo Grynios standing right, holding a phiale and a laurel-branch, omphalos and an amphora at his feet, ΔYI monogram in left field, all within a wreath (Sacks, Issue 25; De Luynes 2532). Lightly toned with soft highlights, well-struck and good metal quality, extremely fine.
