ANCIENT COINS. GREEK. Satraps of Caria, Pixodaros (340-334 B.C.), Silver Didrachm, 7.01g, 1h. Head of Apollo facing, inclined slightly to right, wearing a laurel-wreath. Rev. ΠIΞΩΔAPO[Y], Zeus Labraundos standing right, wearing a chtion and a himation, holding a spear in his left hand and a double-headed axe (labrys) over his shoulder in his right (SNG Keckman 280; SNG Kayhan 891; BMC 5). Light iridescent toning, extremely fine.
