Head of Zeus facing right, wearing a laurel-wreath. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΣEΛEYKOY, Athena in a quadriga of elephants to right, brandishing a spear and a shield, an anchor above, a monogram and a bee below (Houghton and Lorber, SC 130.40 Newell. ESM 121). Beautiful old cabinet tone, an attractive example, good very fine to nearly extremely fine.
