Jugate busts of Demetrios I, diademed, and his wife Laodice, wearing a stephane, facing right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ [Δ]HMHTPIOY ΣΩTHPOΣ, Tyche, holding a sceptre and a cornucopiae, seated left on a throne supported by Nereid (Houghton & Lorber, SC 1688-9; Houghton 991-3). Overstruck, with traces of the undertype (a Tetradrachm of Timarchos?) visible, toned, very fine. Very rare.
