ANCIENT COINS. GREEK. Kingdom of Syria, Seleucid Kings, Antiochos VIII, with Cleopatra Thea (125-121 B.C.), Silver Tetradrachm, 16.28g, 12h. Mint of Damascus, dated Year 192 (121/120 B.C.). Jugate busts of Cleopatra Thea, wearing stephane and veil, and Antiochus, diademed, facing right. Rev. Zeus enthroned left, holding Nike in his outstretched right hand and a scepter in his left, a monogram in left field and below throne, date in exergue (SNG Spaer 2491; LSM 87). Toned, good very fine.
