Head of Alexander the Great facing right, wearing an elephant-skin headdress. Rev. AΛEΞANΔPOY, Athena Alkidemos striding right, brandishing a spear and holding a shield, a helmet, XA monogram and an eagle right before her (Svoronos 162; Zeros Issue 28; SNG Copenhagen 29). Pale violet-grey toning, with soft iridescent hues, over a few trivial hairlines, extremely fine.
