CN DOMITIVS IMP, prow right, upon which stands a trophy with two spears and shield (Cr 519/2; Syd 1177). Lightly toned, nearly extremely fine.
The head on the obverse of this coin is assumed to be ancestral, and the reverse type refers to Cn. Domitius Ahenobarbus's naval victory over Cn. Domitius Calvinus in 42 B.C., for which he was saluted Imperator.
