ANCIENT COINS. ROMAN. Vitellius (A.D. 69), Silver Denarius, 3.54g, 6h. Struck late April to December 20th, A.D. 69. A VITELLIVS GERMANICVS IMP, bare-headed bust of Vitellius facing right. Rev. FIDES / EXERCITVVM in two lines above and below clasped hands (RIC 67; BMC 2; C 36). Well-struck, excellent metal quality with some residual lustre, nearly extremely fine. Scarce.
