Herakles standing facing, a lion's skin draped over his left arm, holding a bow in his left hand and resting his right on a club above which an owl flies (Van Keuren 103, pl. 11 (this reverse die); SNG ANS 86 (this reverse die); HN Italy 1400). Attractive iridescent cabinet tone, obverse die a little worn, otherwise nearly extremely fine.
