Prince Edward Island "Sheaf of Wheat/Plow" 1/2 Penny Token 1840 VF25 Brown NGC, Br-916 (R4), PE-4, Courteau-3 (R9), Robins-29211. Plain edge. Coin alignment. Displaying a planchet flaw to the left of the sheaf on the obverse, with the relatively crude production of the planchets for this series leading to its rapid abandonment, and thus leaving few survivors today. For comparison, a VF Details specimen brought $2280 in our September 2019 Long Beach sale.
