Prince Edward Island "Ships Colonies & Commerce" 1/2 Penny Token ND (1835) AU55 Brown NGC, Br-997, PE-10-33, Lees-33 (R10), Robins-29241. Single H mintmark with straight British flag. Round knob ampersand variety, with die-cut on unfurled mizzen-sail and the tail of the R in Commerce with a small hump. The finest example of this very rare variety that we have handled, outranking the piece we sold in the last Doug Robins sale by 15 grade points. Sold with old dealer and collector's envelopes.
