Lower Canada "Bout De L'Isle - Caleche" Token ND (1808) AU58 Brown NGC, Br-542 (R4), BT-13, Robins-29258. Plain edge. Medal alignment. Used to pay tolls for a trip beginning at REPENTIGNY by carriage (CALÉCHE). Exceptionally fine quality for the issue, and virtually unheard-of on the cusp of Mint State--the last specimen we offered, an AU55 Brown, bringing $1560 in April 2018.
