Lower Canada. Bank of Montreal "Side View" 1/2 Penny Token 1839 MS62 Brown NGC, KM-Tn15, Br-524, LC-10B1, Courteau-33 (R8), Robins-29456. Plain edge. Coin alignment. Variety with roof pointing to L in Montreal, left fence with 15 palings, and low head beaver. An almost universally well-worn type seen here in phenomenal, near choice condition, with intensive die polish visible throughout the bank building and in the protected regions of the reverse.
