Lower Canada copper "Bust & Harp" Blacksmith 1/2 Penny Token ND Fine (Encrustations, Scratches), BL-14 (Extremely Rare), Wood-38, BH-Unl., Robins-29374. 27mm. 4.02gm. Plain edge. Coin alignment. Only the second example of this incredibly rare blacksmith token we have encountered, characterized by its small, faceless head right with a broad truncation. This specimen appears closer to the illustration in Wood than the piece plated in Charlton in the overall shape of the head. What looks to be a small clip is located between 3 and 5 o'clock, though this appears to be as-made.
