"RISEING SUN TAVERN" Blacksmith 1/2 Penny Token ND VF30 Brown NGC, BL-41, Courteau-21, Wood-24, Robins-29363. Plain edge. Medal alignment. With RISEING SUN TAVERN on the reverse in large letters, close to and parallel to a coarsely toothed border. Struck from a badly cracked obverse die. Although one of just 2 in the NGC census, it is worthy of not that Charlton suggests no grade higher for this type than a VF20, suggesting the coin at hand is remarkably well-preserved for the type.
