PHRYGIA, Apameia. Circa 166-133 BC. AR Tetradrachm (29mm, 12.74 g, 12h). Cistophoric type. Struck circa 150-140 BC. Cista mystica with serpent; all within ivy wreath / Two serpents entwined around bow and bowcase; civic monogram to left, elephant's head to right. Kleiner & Noe Series 23, obv. die 31; HGC 7, 655. Minor double strike, small area of weak strike. Good VF.
