EASTERN EUROPE, Imitations of Alexander III of Macedon. 3rd century BC. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 17.02 g, 12h). Uncertain prototype. Head of Herakles, wearing lion skin / Zeus Äetophoros seated left; no control mark, blundered inscription. Cf. OTA 566; Lanz 875 (this coin). Old iridescent collection tone, a few die breaks, a little off center. VF. Well executed imitation of good style.
